IPL 2026, like every year, is dominating, capturing most viewers’ attention during the prime-time slot. And now, as the curtains begin to fall on the latest season of the Indian Premier League, with the finale scheduled for this Sunday, May 31, prominent entertainment channels are gearing up for one of the year’s biggest revamps. From channels like Star Plus and Zee TV to Colors TV and Sony SAB, these broadcasters are now aiming big to revive viewership post-IPL with major new launches.
As we know, every year, the IPL phase is a comparatively dull and inactive period for television channels, marked by major fluctuations in TRPs, all because cricket fever dominating prime time affects the show’s viewership. And this year was no exception, as several shows saw lower TRP ratings and struggled to sustain momentum amid cricket fever. But now, with IPL ending in just a few days, the Hindi GECs have swung into action with strong, strategic, and smart new launches.
From Star Plus and Zee TV to Colors TV and Sony SAB, all these channels have announced at least one significant launch post-IPL in June 2026. Here, take a look at the new launches below.
Star Plus
After O Humnava Tum Dena Saath Mera, now Star Plus is set to launch a new show titled Sairaab with a completely different theme. The trailer was recently released, and the show features Rohit Chandel and Madirakshi Mundle, produced by Leena Gangopadhyay under Magic Moments Motion Pictures. The show will premiere on June 2, 2026, at 7:30 PM.
Zee TV
Zee TV has two shows in its lineup—Tu Hi Re Dil Mein, announced some time ago, which stars Abrar Qazi and Priyanshi Yadav in lead roles, produced by Film and Shots Productions. The other is Dilo Ki Ram Leela, recently announced, starring Aastha Sharma and Mishkat Verma in lead roles and Eijaz Khan and Manasi Salvi in key roles, produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment. Both shows are set to arrive; however, the release date has not been announced.
Colors TV
Colors has three shows in the lineup to be released post-IPL. First is Juhi Mui, starring Eisha Singh in the titular role, Vijayendra Kumeria, Sanjaymeria as the male lead, and ,SanjaKrushnaand Krushag Ghuge in key roles, produced by Rose Audio Visuals. The next is Bareilly Ke Bacchan, starring Ramneek Kataria, Pravisht Mishra, Kinshuk Mahajan, and Yashpal Sharma in key roles, produced by AK Studio / AK Productions. It is scheduled to premiere on June 8, 2026, at 9 PM. And last is Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar, starring Aditi Sharma and Daksh Puri in lead roles, produced by JTBC Studios और Dice Media. Juhi Mui and Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar are yet to announce the release date.
Sony SAB
Sony SAB is returning with a new mythological show titled Hastinapur Ke Veer starring Manish Wadhwa, Chandan Mohinder Anand, Athar Khan, Urva Savaliya, Aayudh Deepak Bhanushali, Shubhash Singh, and Harit Gabani, produced by Peninsula Pictures. The show is set to release on June 2, 2026, at 9 PM.
