TV personality Asit Kumarr Modi, who is the producer of the popular TV show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, has tested positive for coronavirus. Asit shared that he started showing a few COVID-19 symptoms after which he got himself tested.
After testing positive, he urged everyone to follow the protocol, while also confirming that he has isolated himself, most probably in his house.
He tweeted, “After some symptoms of COVID19, I got myself tested & Report came positive. I have isolated myself. I request who has come in my contact to be careful and follow the protocol.”

After its long run, for over a decade, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ had come to a halt due to COVID-19. The show went on floors again in July, after the government started the Unlock phases. They started shooting with sanitisation and safety protocols in place.
