Female actors often give up on their careers for the sake of their kids. TV, film and stage actor Tanaaz Irani too has joined this brigade.

Tanaaz, who had currently been part of Star Plus show Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum as the main vamp, will mostly quit the show, for the long working hours are affecting her kids. “Zeus and Zara are small still.”

Tanaaz’s eldest daughter Zianne lives with her father, Farid Currim, who is Tanaaz’s first husband. The two are divorced. Tanaaz got married to Bakhtiyaar Irani in 2007. She first gained fame with Zabaan Sambhal Ke, in the nineties. Her other well-known shows have been Shubh Mangal Savdhaan and Milley Jab Hum Tum.

“I had taken a long break from TV when I became a mother the second time around. By the time this show came around, I thought I would be able to manage both work and home. But now I am realizing that my kids are missing me and they can’t manage without me.”

“I am talking to the producer, and we will soon reach an amicable settlement,” added she.

Sources confirmed that she will be eased out soon. However, no replacement has been chosen yet.

“I have no problem with the show, it is one of my best works. I will surely miss my character Nishi Sippy. Guess, eventually, motherhood triumphed.”

“I am sure God will have a career plan for me down the road.”

In closing, when we asked Tanaaz about Bigg Boss 13, she quipped, “I don’t watch TV.” Tanaaz and better half Bakhtiyaar were part of Bigg Boss 9.
