Actress Nehal Vadoliya, who rose to fame with her appearance as Neha, Babita Ji’s friend in the popular comedy sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, gets candid in a recent interview. Speaking about the casting couch in Bollywood, the actress revealed her personal experience, sharing a scary incident with a big Bollywood director.
When asked about the casting couch in Bollywood, Nehal didn’t deny it but shared her own personal story, revealing how a big director approached her for inappropriate work. Nehal said, “There is this one very big director, who is also very famous. He called me to meet and said he would meet me in a car only in Malad.”
Further, Nehal added, “He had a black car, he himself was in a black outfit, he opened the door of the car for me, and there was no chair in the car. But there was a bed with red velvet fabric with ‘Malmal’ type soft fabric, and then he closed the door. Then he said, ‘You know how good your figure is?’ ‘Do you want to see what you can do?’ and then he showed me inappropriate videos of girls.”
“He then said, ‘ Do you see her figure? She has many clients from Dubai, and he thinks that she (Nehal) can earn more than her as he has many Dubai clients, Nehal shared. Further, she revealed that for a few seconds she felt, ‘ Where have I come? because she wasn’t in just a car, there was blinds, handcuffs etc.
Then Nehal replied to the director, “I said, sir, first thing, I don’t want to do Bollywood, Dubai, or anything like this; I don’t even want to go there.” And continued saying, “I don’t want to do all these things, and especially whatever is shown in the video, that thing I don’t ever want to do. I don’t even want to do Bollywood, and what are you showing to me?”
