Vandana Lalwani Verma roped in for Colors’ Shrimad Bhagavad

Colors is rolling out its new mythological show Shrimad Bhagavad, produced by Nikhil Dwivedi, which will depict the post Mahabharata story. It will be a 52-episode series airing for one hour every Sunday.

IWMBuzz.com has exclusively learnt that Vandana Lalwani Verma, who was last seen in Waaris, has been roped in for the show.

As per a reliable source, “Vandana will play the role of Gandhari.”

We earlier informed about the ensemble cast which includes includes Ishita Ganguly, Indraneil Sengupta, Rajneesh Duggal, Suchit Vikram Singh, Ayaz Khan, Chandan Anand, Vijay Badani, Yogesh Mahajan, Nakul Ghaneka, Waseem Mushtaq, Shailesh Gulabani, Priom Gujjar, Vidisha Srivastava, Danish Akhtar, Anshul Bammi Ayaan Zubair, Ketan Karande, Kunal Bakshi, Asif Khan, Viraj Kapoor, Meer Ali and Kaajal Jain.

We buzzed Vandana but she remained unavailable for a comment.

Channel spokesperson did not revert to our query.
