Anjali Tatrari, the well-known television actress, in her latest post shared a photo with Varun Badola, featuring precious moments from their time shooting for Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, where they played a father-daughter duo. Sharing these pictures, the actress penned a heartfelt note wishing Varun on his birthday, calling him a dad-like figure to her.

The heartfelt message started with a birthday wish for Varun, who is currently seen in Itti Si Khushi. Anjaliher shared feelings that she wasn’t aware of the feeling of having a father, which is why she never allowed anyone to come so close to her, but with Varun, she didn’t have to protect herself: “Happy Birthday, Dada. I never knew what it feels like to have a dad. And I think because of that, I never let anyone come that close. It was too much, too scary. But with you, I didn’t have to think or protect myself. You just walked in and stayed.”

Anjali further mentioned moments when Varun made her feel safe, loved, and taken care of, and this helped her realise what it feels like to have a dad, “There have been so many moments where I’ve felt safe… where I’ve felt taken care of… and I’ve thought, this is probably what having a dad feels like. Thank you for always having my back, for being there without conditions, for standing by my side even when I was difficult, even when I wasn’t okay.”

Vanshaj actress reflected on the fact that despite knowing Anjali’s true side, Varun stood by her and supported her, “You’ve seen every side of me, the good, the ugly, the broken, and you still chose me. You still kept me close. You still loved me like your own baby. I’m emotional while typing this because I don’t know how to say this out loud. I don’t say it enough. But you mean so much to me. More than you’ll ever know.
I love you. Too much. Always.

Concluded with, “And I’m so glad Mere Dad Ki Dulhan happened ,the show that brought you into my life. It was meant to be.”
