Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai the popular and long running Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut will soon go in for a generation leap.
The lead actors of the show Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi will bid adieu to the show soon.

We now hear the news of Vinay Jain being roped in to the show. He will be seen as the central father figure going forward in the new plot.
As per a reliable source, Vinay will join Pragati Mehra in the show in the post leap phase.
We had earlier written about Pragati being part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
We buzzed Vinay but did not get through.
We reached out to Producer Rajan Shahi and channel spokesperson but did not get revert.
Later, Producer Rajan Shahi confirmed our news saying, “Yes Vinay had been cast.
It’s our 3rd show together.. My first show as director in 1999 was Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi..vinay was cast opposite Rupali Ganguly who made her debut as her husband .. Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya was our second show but I was producing it ..this would be the 3rd show with Vinay.”
