As Colors TV’s new reality show ‘The 50’ nears its release, the makers have dropped the most exciting information, keeping fans wanting to watch the show. On Thursday, January 15, popular TV star Karan Patel, in a joint post with Colors TV and JioHotstar, unveiled himself as the first-ever confirmed contestant of the upcoming show.
Revealing himself as the first contestant of The 50, Karan Patel, in his caption, wrote, “Ek sher ko dusre sher ka bulava aaya hai… Excitement bhi hai aur sawaal bhi. #The50 Feb 1 onwards on #JioHostar & @colorstv.”
Karan shared photos of himself with the invite from the ‘The 50’ that reads, “The Lion Invites You To His Palace.” Karan posed in a casual look while his smile hinted at his excitement to return to the TV screens, but in a never-before-seen and unfiltered avatar in the new game show.

Talking about his excitement and choosing to be a part of ‘The50’, Karan said, “Being locked in a house for a month away from friends and family was never something I imagined for myself But the moment I heard the concept of the show, there was an instant desire to be a part of it. The 50 excites me, the genes, the competition, and the madness that comes with it I’m looking forward to meeting my fellow contestants, hopefully some familiar faces, and giving it my all. I’ve always believed in content that entertains responsibly, and that’s exactly what crew me to this game-based format. For me, this show is about fur, positivity, and healthy competition. I want to be very clear about one thing, unnecessary chaos, character assassination, or foul language is something will not tolerate. I’m here purely for entertainment and honest gameplay, not to spread negativity or cross lines, Most of all, I hope to bring smiles to those watching and yes, I’ll be giving it my absolute best to take the trophy home!!”
Karan Patel is a well-known television actor who is often regarded as “Television Ka Shah Rukh Khan”. He was last seen in the Star Plus show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein alongside Divyanka Tripathi, and the show ran from 2013 to 2019.
