It’s been just a week since Geet Dholi got aired on ZEE Punjabi, and it’s a smashing hit, rocking the TRP charts. The show got 1.39 TVR in week 35 of BARC (The Broadcast Audience Research Council) ratings. Earlier, we at IWMBuzz announced ZEE Punjabi launching four back-to-back shows, and it seems Geet Dholi has come out to be the netizens’ favourite most surely.
Geet Dholi, aired on 30th August (Monday to Friday, from 8 pm), spun on the story of a dauntless girl, who wants to thrive in the man’s world with her dream of becoming a dhol player, following her father’s legacy and prove that music has got nothing to do with the gender. In this long excruciating journey, the girl gets a hand of pouring support from her husband Malhar, who loves her moon to back and gets her through to quest for her dream and make it true.
