Zee TV supernatural show Manmohini seems to be living a charmed life. We had last reported that this LSD production would bid adieu in early April to be replaced by Kyun Rishton Main Khatti Bhatti.

But now, according to a highly placed source, Producer Prateek Sharma has informed the actors that whenever shooting lockdown lifts, the show will be extended by 20 episodes, as the above replacement property might not be ready given the evolving coronavirus situation.

The source went on to add that the previously shot climax might give way to a new ending, leading to buzz whether the show will go on to live beyond the two dozen epi extension as well.

Manmohini lead Reyhnaa Pandit confirmed the extension but refused to say more.

Season 2 male lead actor Karam Rajpal added that so far he has no clear idea of the extension, “But yes I have heard the channel is indeed talking to the makers about something.”

The show took a generation leap late last year with the exit of leads Ankit Siwaich and Garima Singh Rathod.

Our attempts to reach the producer and channel spokesperson came to nought.
