Writer and Director Puneet Sharma has been around for 25 years, with his claim to fame being ‘Bharat Varsh’ with Anupam Kher.
Puneet who has directed the first part of Pradhanmantri has started work on its next edition. The talented director has been part of the episodic series Code Red and Savdhan India on TV.
He is also known for his work with respect to documentaries. He recently worked on a documentary on the ministry of science and technology. He has also written for a movie in the capacity of Screenplay Writer. The movie will be directed by Shoojit Sircar.
Recently, Puneet was in Goa shooting his documentary film when he fractured his foot which has restricted him to the bed for the last one and half months. In another two weeks, he is hopeful of getting into action again, right in time to resume the shoot of Pradhanmantri.
As we know, Pradhanmantri the political documentary series was hosted by Shekhar Kapur and was aired on ABP News.
Puneet is heralded for his achievements as Director in the field of advertisements.
Says Puneet, “Directing Pradhanmantri has been a great experience. It was a unique presentation of the changes in the country during the regime of the 13 Prime Ministers in the last 65 years.”
Puneet is all eager to spring back into action after his forced rest to shoot for the next edition of the popular series. “Yes, we will resume shoot of Pradhanmantri once I am back into action. I have few TVC commitments too. I am looking forward to active work in the next few weeks.”
