Ekta Kapoor is an Indian television producer who has produced several films and tv shows. Her production is known as Balaji Telefilms Limited that was founded in 1994. After several hit serials, Ekta Kapoor ventured into film production in the year 2001 with the movie Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta, starring the actor Govinda. She went on to make films like Kucch To Hai, Krishna Cottage, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum. As she was doing well as a producer, Ekta Kapoor established more Tv serials and movies, such as Shootout at Wadala, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Mission Istanbul, etc. Often we see her brother Tusshar Kapoor acting in her movies.
Ekta Kapoor has produced around 130 tv serials and continues to entertain her targeted audience which are the homemakers and women in general. She also has produced tv shows in a regional language like Marathi. Ekta Kapoor started her production career with the serials Hum Paanch, Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Bade Acche Lagte Hain, Naagin series, Kumkum Bhagya, and the list goes on. Ekta Kapoor’s fashion sense has always got the internet talking. She went through a lot of style changes and fashion changes in her life.
