Siddhartha Vankar who has been a Show Runner and Creative Director in the TV industry has recently added a new feather in his cap.

He has turned Writer with the book ‘Love at Manipal’ published recently.

Siddhartha who has been at the helm of creativity in TV shows Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Navya, Mahabharat, El Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, Balika Vadhu, etc is presently the Creative Director of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin the Star Plus show produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment.

Love at Manipal published by Olympia Publishers has been received well and he is getting rave reviews for his work.

Says Siddhartha, “This is my maiden book. Love at Manipal is a college love story set in Manipal where I did my education. The story is fictitious, but the situations and surroundings are very realistic. There is a story of the past as well as the story of the present.”

Siddhartha who wrote this book a few years back decided to go ahead and publish the book recently. “I was glad when Olympia Publishers liked my book and agreed to publish it. I am getting a good response for the book.”

Now, Siddhartha is on the verge of writing his second book. “I never thought that I will ever write another book. But during the lockdown, I wrote my second book too, and work is in progress to publish it.”

Tell him that his TV show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is doing well and he states, “Yes, the response gotten for Ghum is very similar to the kind of response I got years back, for the first edition of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. It is very humbling and gratifying to see the very good response coming for Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.”
