Imlie the Star Plus show produced by Gul Khan’s 4 Lions Films has had a successful run. The show which has been raking well in numbers for a while now, achieves its first major achievement in the completion of 100 episodes. The show which stars Sumbul Touqeer, Gashmeer Mahajani and Mayuri Deshmukh in lead roles, has a stellar cast. The story touches the realistic zones of human emotion.
It dwells into the story of Imlie, a village-bred girl and Aditya, a journalist and how their forced wedding shapes up their life to come.
On the occasion of its 100 episodes completion, we buzzed Muskan Bajaj, Creative Director, Imlie and she had this to tell us.
Says Muskan, “The show Imlie has been a great journey for all of us. The show is real, rustic, and organic. It has the emotions and relations to which the audience can connect with. We have hit a century today and we hope to make many more with the love of everyone.”
