We think that the first season was only about love and blackmail but this second season is all about twists and hatred. We think that both seasons are best and Jennifer gave proper justice to Maya’s role.
Maya Mehrotra is a nuanced well thought out character that Jennifer Winget manages to capture with surprising elegance. I am not sure if it’s Jennifer’s regular way of talking, but she has a downward inflection and thickish voice that’s pleasing to the ear and works well here.
Maya looks rich. Not over the top villain/vamp rich. More classy and restrained.
