Sony Entertainment Television’s popular show Mere Sai is loved by audiences across age groups. The show narrates the life story and teachings of Sai Baba’s life which has struck a chord with viewers worldwide. Owing to the narrative, the show has taken a leap due to which the child characters such as Tatya, Jhipri and Champa will grow up. Abeer Soofi who plays the role of Sai Baba shares a strong bond with all the child actors on the show. Abeer is often seen spending time with the kids during breaks sharing stories and laughing along with them.

The grown up version of child characters will be essayed by new actors. Recently while shooting for the closing sequence with the kids who essay the role of Tatya, Jhipri and Champa, Abeer Soofi felt was overwhelmed with a feeling of sadness. He has worked with the children for a period of about a year and shares an unshakeable bond with them. He treated the kids with some tasty snacks and chocolates. The playful trio and Abeer had a wonderful time on the sets reminiscing joyful memories. The cheerful bunch clicked lots of selfies and photos together. Abeer’s eyes were moist with tears as he smiled when the children were leaving the sets who promised to come back regularly to meet him and others.

When contacted Abeer Soofi confirmed,” It’s true. All of us on the sets will miss the playful trio of Dhruti, Naviya and Vedant. The sets would be abuzz with their playful banter and mischief every-day and everyone on the sets – right from the director of photography to spot boys were very fond of them. I have lots of wonderful memories with them. Sai Baba was also fond of kids and was often seen spending time in their company. While enacting this coveted role, I too had grown very fond of all the three children and it will take me some time to realize that they wouldn’t be coming every day for the shoot. They have promised me that they will visit regularly and I wish that they achieve success in all the things that they do in life.”

Indeed, everyone will miss him.
