Casting Director Himesh Choudhary who has worked on popular TV shows like Crime Patrol, Ek Duje Ke Vaaste Season 1 etc is presently in Rajasthan, his hometown with the lockdown inflicted in Maharashtra owing to the rise in Covid cases.
According to him, the entire Nation is going through a tough time. But he believes in keeping himself engaged and helping people around.
Says Himesh, “In this challenging time, I am working on very basic survival skills in my hometown. I come from a small town, but never realized that it was so important to hold on to such skills that will come of help during the toughest of times.”
Himesh is into farming, construction and also into mat making these days. “I am not talking for the sake of telling about myself. I feel that my tale can inspire few people in taking up work that is right under their eyes and feel good by doing it. We have overlooked such jobs most of the times. But I have got to understand that basic survival skills will help you sail through this tough phase in life. This is a journey of self-realization for me. I feel happy as I get into doing such jobs. This is helping me to stay active. I feel positive in mind too.”
