The lead pair is one of the biggest attractions of the show and we simply cannot choose between all the starry-eyed moments between Kartik and Naira. Fans lovingly call them #KaiRa and we only hope that they continue to give us amazing couple goals with their fairytale love story.
2. The generation leap
One of the most ingenious parts of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is all the generation leaps that the show took to ensure that the script doesn’t become dull and new characters can be introduced in a very fresh and welcoming manner. Every time the show took a leap, our eagerness to see what would come next shot up all the more!
The most recent generation leap that is to come now is that the lead characters will once again be seen as leading separate lives, with Naira being a single mother with a five year old boy.
3. The society drama
This is one of those television shows that chose not to focus on the standard saas-bahu dramas and instead went on to boldly highlight the society problems in modern times. From supporting women to pursue their dreams and achieve financial independence to taking a stand against the corrupt and injustice people in the family, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has shown it all.
One of the best examples would be when Kartik supported Naira to expose Puru mama and went against everybody in the family to get justice for the women.
