After receiving an overwhelming response to the previous two seasons that introduced audiences to some truly exceptional moms whose dancing skills can give even the younger dancers a run for their money, Zee TV recently launched the 3rd edition of its popular non-fiction show – DID Super Moms. Airing Saturdays and Sundays, the new season has an exciting panel of judges – Remo D’Souza, Bhagyashree Dassani, and Urmila Matondkar to mentor and guide the talented moms through their journey and help them achieve their dancing dreams.
Week after week, the top contestants have mesmerized one and all with their wonderful performances and this weekend as well, the viewers are in for a treat as popular television actresses Ankita Lokhande and Usha Nadkarni will be seen gracing the show. While all the Super Moms put their best foot forward, it was contestant Sadhna’s mesmerizing performance to the song ‘Yaadein Yaad Aati Hai’ that left everyone amazed. Right after their performance, Jay Bhanushali asked Ankita about her relationship with her mother, to which she replied saying that she has never been expressive towards her mother, but she has always been her constant support system. Talking about her mother and her childhood, Ankita shared how Urmila Matondkar has been her inspiration to become an actress like her since she was a kid.
As Ankita Lokhande, mentioned, “I remember when I was in 3rd standard, I wrote in my diary that I want to become an actress and my mother read it. Since then, my mother has become a constant support system for me. In fact, I danced a lot to Urmila Ji’s song ‘Rangeela Re’. And just because of that particular song I dreamed of becoming an actress. I must say, it was her song that became a lucky charm for me because it helped me to win multiple dance competitions in my childhood.
