Star Plus popular show Imlie has been entertaining audiences with interesting twists and turns. Mayuri Deshmukh, who plays the role of Malini has garnered accolades from fans and critics. Reportedly, the role of Malini was offered to Tina Philip. She could not connect with the character and hence, refused the offer.
Priyanka Choudhary, who is seen as Tejo in Udaariyan, was reportedly offered the role of Malini in Imlie. However, for some reason, she could not be a part of the show.
Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik too was reportedly approached by the makers of Imlie to cast her as Malini. But the deal did not work out.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee is said to have refused the offer to play the role of Malini due to prior commitments.
Karishma Tanna was also reportedly one of the choices of the makers for the role of Malini. However, the actress reportedly does not want to do Television shows as of now, and hence, declined the offer.
