Ravi Chhabra the talented young actor is happy to be playing a Sardar character for the first time on TV!!
Ravi who will also be seen in a cameo role in Zee TV’s new show Bhagyalakshmi has joined the cast of Choti Sarrdaarni in the role of the grownup Yuvi, son of Jagga and Amrita.
Says Ravi, “I am basically from Punjab. So it is an honor to portray the role of a Sardar onscreen. This is a challenging role, considering that the character of Yuvi has had different shades from childhood. I am looking forward to the role.”
For Ravi, the role of Yuvi came to him as he was destined to play it. He had earlier auditioned for Yuvi. But he bagged a cameo role in Bhagyalakshmi, an important negative character that was to last for 7-8 episodes.
Ravi, explains, “I completed my shoot for Bhagyalakshmi and that was when I got to know that I bagged the role of Yuvi in Choti Sarrdaarni.”
“I am happy to be playing the character as Yuvi has always had layers”, he ends.
