Disha Vakani is a household name in the TV industry, with her being popular for her role of Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the Sony SAB show. Dish has managed to entertain her huge fan base with her prowess in the show in the role of Dayaben for years now. She was loved for her uncanny and unique diction, her chemistry with Jehalal, her mischievous smile, her amazing Garba etc.
Disha moved out of the show in the year 2017, when she was in the family way. What started off as a maternity break soon got to be a prolonged and long-drawn break where Disha put herself into self-exile from TV.
She is now a mother to a cute daughter. She has been busy with parenthood and does not find it plausible to make a return on TV.
While the makers have insisted and quoted time and again in media that they have been in talks with Disha for her return, there has not been any official standing on this!!
Well, her fans are surely missing the Dayaben moments on the show!!
