Kasautii Zindagii Kay is one show with millions of followers. The original version of 2001 had the talented Shweta Tiwari as the lead to portray the character of Prerna. Shweta’s portrayal of Prerna was spot-on and her outfits from the show then were an instant hit. The title song had Shweta dressed up in a black and red Anarkali. She looked absolutely stunning. The dramatically long dupatta added to the beauty of the dress.
On the contrary, the new age Prerna played by Erica Fernandes is a strong-headed woman. For the title song of the reboot version, the makers of the show decided to repeat the same look for the leads and so Erica was also seen in a black and red Anarkali. Erica did total justice to the outfit and looked drop-dead-gorgeous. The dark colours suited her pale skin and the elegance of the outfit was extremely striking.
