Women have many avatars, which include being nurturers, caregivers, protectors. They can be kind and caring, but when it comes to protecting their kids, every mother can turn into a warrior. This is made evident in the current track of COLORS’ much-loved show Choti Sarrdaarni. In the upcoming track, Mehar (Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia), who
is alone at home at night, realizes that there are some intruders who are trying to enter her home. Sensing the danger, she takes matters into her own hands. She ties her baby behind her in a dupatta and tries to escort Param outside. But when she sees the goons coming she grabs a sword hanging in her home and jumps in to attack the baddies. One can almost see her transforming into Jhansi Ki Rani in order to protect her children!

Talking about the track, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia said, “Mehar has very strong maternal instincts, and she is extremely protective about both her children. In the current track of the show, we see these instincts come to the fore, and we can see that she can even pick up a sword to save her family. Also, it was fun to do some action for a change. I have never done action scenes involving a sword before and I had to practice for a few hours. I was tired considering the sword was quite heavy, but I am pleased with the results. It’s an emotionally charged sequence and I am sure the viewers will feel an adrenaline rush when they witness Mehar’s fiery avatar!”
