Talented actress Melanie Pais who played the popular role of Laboni in Ekta Kapoor’s Jodha Akbar is thankful to the Producer for giving her this role!!
The actress was recently in Bali, Indonesia for a script reading when she actually realized that she is hugely known for her Laboni portrayal in Bali.
Says Melanie, “It’s always a great feeling to be remembered for the roles you do. When I was in Bali for a certain script reading, I was taken aback at the warmth and love people showered on me. They still remember me as Laboni of Jodhaa Akbar. I was surprised to know how popular Indian actors are in Indonesia. The people are so warm and nice. I am thankful to Ekta M’am and Balaji Telefilms for creating such a great character.”
On the work front, Melanie is looking for good opportunities wherein she can play a power-packed role yet again!!
