Supernatural shows are getting more and more popular over the days among the Indian television viewers. Supernatural shows like daayan and Nazar have gained a lot of viewers in just a short span of time.

Is too much dark content with supernatural shows like Daayan and Nazar good for Indian Telly?

Daayan is an Indian paranormal romance drama series created by Ekta Kapoor. It stars Mohit Malhotra and Tina Datta. The series revolves around two people who are madly in love with each other and how their lives change when a Daayan enters their lives and creates havoc. Daayan is very popular among the Indian viewers, as a lot of people love the storyline and the acting. This show also has a great suspense factor to it.

Nazar is another Indian supernatural television series that airs on StarPlus and streams on Hotstar. The series follows a daayan, an evil entity who bewitches the Rathod family and outlines the struggles faced by the family under her evil eye. It stars Antara Biswas, Harsh Rajput and Niyati Fatnani in lead roles, who portray Mohana Rathod, Ansh Rathod and Piya Sharma respectively. Nazar is all about fantasy, creativity and a pack full of entertainment, it has an excellent cast, an intriguing story with lots of twists and turns.

Though these shows are very entertaining and are loved by audiences, we think that they are not a very good influence. Usually, when the ladies of the house watch a serial, it’s during dinner time when the entire family is present. The children watch such shows as well. The horror movies are usually not reachable to the children but such shows are very easily available to them.

Though these series are not all bad, we don’t think more such serials show be shown. Nowadays such shows are only given much preference.
