Actress Neelam Handa is one veteran actress who is living her dream post retirement!!
Yes, we can clearly say that as she fulfilled all her responsibilities of being a family woman during her prime, and later decided to chase her dream of becoming an actor.
Presently, Neelam Handa is part of the Number 1 show on ZEE Punjabi, Khasma Nu Khani where she plays one of the important roles. She also has a Hindi TV show in pipeline.
To know more about her, she happens to be the mother of actor Sonal Handa.
Says Sonal on behalf of his mother, “My mom started working in the TV industry after retirement. She had a big dream of becoming an actress from her childhood days. However things were not favourable enough even before and after marriage. She got an offer of Doordarshan in the year 1990, but she was pregnant with me at that phase. I am happy that she is living her dream now.”
Neelam Handa also gives programs for All India Radio.
