Young actor Ranveer Singh Malik who was last seen in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will have a storming entry in the Zee TV show Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan produced by Prateek Sharma’s LSD Films.
Ranveer will play the role of Rahul, who is the younger brother of the protagonist Mohan (Shabir Ahluwalia).
His entry will bring in a huge confrontation between Mohan and his younger brother, over a certain family issue.
Says Ranveer, “I play the outrageous and rebellious brother of Mohan. Rahul is jealous of Mohan and hates the fact that Mohan gets all the priority and importance in the house. He does not care for anyone in the house, not even his own mother. Rahul is a person who is smitten by jealousy as his mother showers all love on her step-son Mohan and not on her real kids.”
Talking more, Ranveer states, “It is an overwhelming experience for me, to be part of Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan. As the story will progress, I will have more of these intense scenes with Shabir. I feel lucky to be sharing screen space with an actor and performer like Shabir. The concept of the show is very nice and people will love it.”
The interesting aspect for Ranveer will be that his introductory scene in the show where he will confront Mohan will have him posing bare-chested. “Yes, that’s true, that I will be topless in my entry sequence. But I guess, more than that, viewers will be keen to see the fight that happens in the scene between the two brothers.”
