In addition to entertaining his audience this year, the Dabangg actor has hosted the contentious show for the previous 13 years. According to recent media reports, Salman Khan is reportedly asking for Rs. 1000 crore for the upcoming season.
Salman has requested a three-fold increase in fees because he hasn’t received a significant raise in the previous few seasons, according to a source in Tellychakkar. This time, he is adamant that he won’t be presenting the show until he gets a raise, albeit there has been no official confirmation of this. Salman Khan may receive a total compensation of Rs 1050 crore for the 16th season, considering that his earnings for the 15th season were about Rs 350 crore. Salman Khan also admitted during one of the press conferences that the producers always manage to talk him out of leaving the role of host. But it seems like things are different this time. Meanwhile, sources claim that the producers of Bigg Boss 16 and Bigg Boss OTT 2 have contacted 17 famous people. Who will accept the offer is not yet known.
