There is no actor who will deny getting inspired by Amitabh Bachchan at some point in life.
Ssharad Malhotra is one such actor from the television industry who lives in awe of Mr. Bachchan. The actor is currently seen playing the role of Raunak in Star Bharat’s show Musakaan (Rashmi Sharma Productions). Ssharad has grown up watching Amitabh Bachchan’s movies and has been thoroughly inspired by the wonderful roles that he has portrayed on the big screen. It is heard that it was during one of Big B’s movie that Ssharad realized his passion and love for acting and took his first step towards it as a career.
The Bachchan influence seems to be strong on the actor. Not only has he inspired his career but has also helped him out indirectly in one of the scenes in his upcoming show Musakaan.
A sequence in Musakaan is where Raunak sees a lizard and is scared of it. In comes his rescuer Musakaan and saves him from the lizard. While this scene was being narrated, Ssharad Malhotra immediately connected it with the scene in Sooryavansham where Amitabh Bachchan saves the actress from the lizard and decides to perform it in the same manner that Mr.Bachchan had performed in the movie.
Excited about his shot Ssharad Malhotra expressed, “I have always been a diehard Mr. Bachchan fan. I remember that when I was young I was watching Sooryavansham with my mother and loved the movie. When I heard of the lizard scene for my show Musakaan, I could only think of the scene from the movie. It was great fun shooting for the scene and I am happy that my director too agreed on shooting the scene my way. I hope my audience enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed performing it.”
