Completing 11 years on tv we have literally seen the child cast members grow in front of our eyes. The tapu Sena who was around 10 years old at the start but are now full-grown teenagers. The story revolves around the Gokhuldham society and all the members of it. They live more like a family rather than neighbors.
The very first episode of the show was hilarious, where bapuji returns to Mumbai from kutch and is excited to meet his family. While the excitement of seeing his grandson all grown up he lifts him up and at that moment almost breaks his back. Apart from that, there are some scenes where Jethalal the main character is seen flirting with his crush babitaji and that’s something everyone likes. The part in which bapuji decides to find a wife for his grandson tapu is one of the most entertaining plots. All the struggle Jethalal has to go through and the hilarious dream he sees is way too funny. How can we forget Sundar Lal brother-in-law of Jethalal he is a troublemaker for Jethalal and always keeps on demanding for money for some stupid reason. Well everyone deserves to have a friend like Taarak Mehta he is the one who helps Jethalal to overcome all his problems and tries to teach him to live a happy life.
Few of the episodes had a plot where it was Babitaji ‘s birthday and Jethalal couldn’t keep calm as he was way too excited for his crushes birthday celebration. But Iyer husband of Babita played some tricks and didn’t invite the Gada family for the celebration but later Babita apologized and then the celebrations were in full swing. That was one heck of a story. There are many such episodes that made our jaws hurt and we can never forget that. Many characters left the show in between while a few came back too but even after 11 years, the show is still in full swing. There are many TMKOC fan clubs out there supporting this show.
