TV serial IWMBuzz’s Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha) are one of the most iconic jodis on television. Their tumultuous love affair had all the makings of a great love story complete with external evil forces – Tanu and Alia – trying to separate the two.
Being two sides of the same coin, we witnessed a lot of major arguments and fights between the two. But with those fights, there was an equally heavy dose of cute and romantic moments too. In fact, some would argue that watching fuggi and abhi argue over petty things was much more entertaining than anything else. Truly delightful moments those!
Like at the very beginning, Abhi and Pragya’s story started on a bitter note with the two entering into wedlock under unusual circumstances. We certainly could not have expected sunshine and roses for the two then, could we? So, to nobody’s surprise when the two started fighting at every possible turn, sometimes because of misunderstandings created by others, it was to be expected. If anything, their playful banter only enhanced the overall entertainment factor of the show.
Remember, when the two were kidnapped and about to die. Even then the two started arguing over who would get killed first. Or when they argued over a similar pair of pants. Absolutely hilarious to watch!
Cute arguments aside, along the way sometimes things took a nasty turn and Abhi-Pragya would be seen engaging in major fights that were real and ugly. Now, those moments were a little heartbreaking for everyone and we would hope for them to make up ASAP.
In fact, their current separation preceded a series of fights between the two that led to breaking off marriage.
First when their daughter Kiara got kidnapped. Pragya gets miffed with Abhi when he tries to blackmail Nikhil by pointing a gun at him. At which Pragya pleads him to back off and they get into a scuffle. Meanwhile, Nikhil along with Kiara slips off the cliff which ends up killing them.
Naturally, Kiara’s death drives a major wedge in their relationship. Pragya accuses Abhi of carelessness leads to a major fight between the two and in order to protect the twins, she decides to walk out of the house.
Another fight ensues when Abhi demands separation of their daughters but at the end agree to keep one of the twins with each of them.
Will the two get back together? Only time will tell!
