It is known that actors often rely on their own real life experiences to bring alive their on screen characters. Tanvi Azmi, who essays the role of twin sisters Vani and Rani married to warring brothers, was able to do just that!
Tanvi revealed, “My Mother’s younger sister and my father’s younger brother are married to each other but it isn’t a strained relationship like shown in Vani Rani. In fact there was major bonding between all of us. We all share a great equation with each other. While there is no drama like shown on the show, the similarity you can say is in the relationship shared between two sisters and two brothers. ”
&TV’s Vani Rani is a family drama which showcases the complexities in various relationships of an Indian family. Things are more complicated for this family as twin sisters are married to two half-brothers and both don’t get along with each other. With real somewhere becoming the inspiration for reel, Tanvi Azmi’s upcoming show promises to be a story which is going to keep the audiences hooked with its interesting plots and engaging characters.
The show will air from 7 August Monday to Friday at 7pm.
