Divyanka and Vivek worked in Star Plus’ popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein; however, they didn’t interact much beyond the usual exchange of smile. Their friend and co-star Pankaj Bhatia insisted that they go out on a date. After a little hesitation, Vivek and Divyanka agreed and that’s how their love story began.
In December 2015, Vivek finally decided to take the plunge and pop the question. He planned a cute proposal on the occasion of her birthday. A few months after the proposal, the couple got engaged in January 2016. The engagement was followed by a big fat Indian wedding on July 8 the same year. Divyanka and Vivek or DiVek, as their fans fondly refer to them, are always vocal about their love and support.
