Ever since IWMBuzz broke the news of the popular Star Plus show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein going off air, many actors of the cast have given enough cryptic answers to confirm our story. Obviously they can’t come on record to confirm unless Star and Balaji give them the go ahead.
Something similar happened when we spoke to lead actor, Karan Patel.
He says, “I have no clue. Shows can go on for years but eventually it depends on the audience. These calls are taken by the channel. I don’t have any say in this matter.”
When asked how he would feel if the show does go off air, he replies, “Completely satisfied, for YHM has been a game changer for all its artists. I do not look at Raman Bhalla as someone else; he has become part of me.”
In closing, Karan, who has been around for the last 19 years, (doing most K-factory shows) says that the most important thing for any actor is to stay grounded. “The moment you start having airs, the problems start. I have been very dedicated to my craft.”
