Anupamaa the Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut has seen engaging drama wherein Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) and Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly) are gungo about their first Makar Sankranti with their daughter Anu. As we know, Anu has been adopted by Anuj and Anupamaa. However, they remain as her foster parents as of now and the legal adoption has to be done.
Meanwhile, the show has introduced a new track which sees the entry of Anu’s real mother. Maya who Anu saw at her friend’s place, is actually the real mother of Anu. She has similar likings and passions as Anu. They have clicked well in quick time. Anu seems to be very excited about meeting Maya again at her own house.
Maya will make her appearance during Makar Sankranti and will give Anuj and Anupamaa a big shocker. She will introduce herself as the real mother of Anu and that she will want her custody.
