Sony Entertainment Television’s latest fiction offering Kathaa Ankahee, the Hindi remake of the superhit Turkish series, ‘1001 Nights’ (Binbir Gece) presents a repentance love story centered around an unforgettable wound that creates a rift between Katha (Aditi Dev Sharma) and Viaan (Adnan Khan). In the recent track, Katha is juggling multiple jobs while also knocking every door possible to collect the desired funds for Aarav’s operation. Having faced a humiliation from her in-laws to her bank loan being rejected; these situations have left Katha broken from within but she gathers her strength once again for Aarav’s sake and fights this till the very end. This beautiful mother-son bond and Katha’s heartwarming journey as a single mother who goes above and beyond to save her child who is suffering from cancer as struck a chord with the audience.
In the coming episode, Katha will seek help from an NGO on Rewa’s (Sheen Das) suggestion but decides not to take it up as she feels that she shouldn’t snatch away some other child’s chance for Aarav. Not losing hope, Katha will decide to approach Jeetu sir, who looks after HR & admin at Viaan’s architect firm, EarthCon for a loan but since she is a temporary employee she can’t get a loan. On hearing this, Katha will be left all flustered and receives a call from Pyramid (a competitor of Viaan’s firm) who offers 1 crore to Katha along with a job of a lead designer. Sensing there is a catch to this, a tempted Katha questions them asking what do they want in return. Taking Katha by surprise, Pyramid will ask her to betray EarthCon and share the designs of the Dubai heritage project. Finding herself at a challenging juncture of her life where she is one step away from getting the funds, What will Katha do – will she choose integrity or the money for her son’s operation?? Will she take the offer and betray Viaan??
