In the upcoming episode of Neela Film Productions Private Limited’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, viewers will see Gokuldhaamites are all set to celebrate Popatlal’s success in the recent sting operation at the very resort where it had unfolded just a few days ago. Everything has been arranged for a formal felicitation of Popatlal and his team who helped him out in carrying out the operation. However, Bhide, who has made all the arrangements for the felicitation has forgotten to bring from home the traditional shawls meant for the felicitation ceremony.
However, the felicitation ceremony commences and Bhide has no time to arrange for shawls. In desperation, without giving it another thought, Bhide grabs the closest thing to a shawl and which happen to be the bedcovers from the resort’s rooms.
Fortunately for Bhide, the felicitation ceremony goes along as scheduled and the goof-up has gone almost unnoticed. But just as the ceremony comes to an end, Jethaalal notices the shawls and points them out to everyone. The shawls in no way are the traditional shawls and when Jethaalal points this out, the resort’s staff notices that it is in fact the bedcovers from the resort’s rooms. On finding out that Bhide has insulted him and his friends, Popatlal becomes furious and Jethaalal does the job of adding fuel to the fire.
Not the kind of person who slacks, Bhide is caught between the fury of a short-tempered Popatlal and the humiliation from his ever-sloppy friend Jethaalal. Everyone else is completely surprised by Bhide’s behaviour and they are yet to understand how he could even think of replacing shawls with bedcovers. What will Bhide do now? How will he save face and how will he calm Popatlal down?
