Yes, the world is battling with one of its biggest troubles in recent times. The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the lives of everyone, everywhere. Scientists across the world are trying their best to invent a vaccine to fight the fatal virus. However, in the midst of this, it is the time of year we all eagerly wait for to welcome our beloved Lord Ganesh. And the remover of obstacles, Ganapati Bappa like every year, has arrived at Gokuldhaam Society! The upcoming episode of Neela Film Productions Private Limited’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) will see the Generation Z take the lead in making all the necessary arrangements for welcoming Ganapati Bappa.
Early one morning, the Secretary of Gokuldhaam Society – Bhide looks grim. He fixes the mic to a loudspeaker set in the middle of Society and declares that he has an important announcement to make and requests everyone to pay attention. One by one, every resident steps out into their balconies to find out the reason for such an urgent, impromptu meeting. When everyone shows up, he informs them that unlike every year, this year with the pandemic he is unable to decide how to go about making arrangements for hosting Ganapati Bappa in the Society. He requests that everyone give their suggestions and help him with a plan.
Bhide tries to explain to them that this is an exceptional occasion and that he has no previous experience in managing an event amidst a pandemic. But almost everyone in the Society finds Bhide’s announcement trivial and dismisses him by saying that as always, he should be able to handle this task easily. This ignorant attitude by Society members puts Bhide off and in a fit of anger; he declares that he won’t take responsibility of making any arrangements this year. Just as he begins to walk off, Tapu sena intervenes and pacify their Guru, their teacher. They tell him that they look up to him as their inspiration and that they will help him in making all the required arrangements.
But of course, as we all know Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is as much about life values and spreading positivity, as much as it is about comedy. And there’s quite a bit of it in the upcoming episode which will have our favourite and beloved Bappa. So join us in our celebration and to seek the Lord’s blessing for a world free of all troubles.
