Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya continues to engage audiences across generations with its gripping storyline and relatable characters. The upcoming episode will see how the members of Sai Darshan Heights Society cheer up Yamini after an unfortunate incident, organising a special celebration just for her.

Post her dispute with the Wagles, Aunt Kalyani returns to Sai Darshan Heights Society for the first time for her relative’s godh bharai ceremony. Due to the bitterness of the past, Dakku (Deepak Pareek) and Yamini (Mansi Joshi) graciously offer to host her at their place this time. But back with her superstitions, aunt Kalyani prevents Yamini from attending the godh bharai, claiming that an infertile woman is a bad omen for an expectant mother. Upon realising Yamini’s despair, Vandana (Pariva Pranati) decides to arrange a godh bharai ceremony for her with a miracle doll which is said to bring a child into a woman’s life. This gesture of hers, along with that of other members of the society leave Dakku and Yamini happy and overjoyed.

Will this ceremony really bring good news for Yamini?

Mansi Joshi, essaying the role of Yamini said, “The latest track is very heartfelt and also highlights a very important issue which still impacts women in our society. Kalyani mausi is superstitious so when she stops Yamini from attending the godh bharai ceremony, the latter feels deeply hurt. Yamini has been trying to have a child for a long time, so Kalyani mausi’s words affect her adversely. However, Rajesh standing up for her encourages Yamini and all the neighbours coming together for the ceremonial godh-bharai make her and Dakku truly happy. I am excited to see if the doll brings good luck for Yamini.”

Pariva Pranati, essaying the role of Vandana said, “Aunt Kalyani is still offended with the Wagles after Sakhi’s menstruation incident. She stays with Yamini and Dakku bhai, but ends up upsetting Yamini with her harsh words. As a woman, getting to hear such statements can be really hurtful, more so when it adds to the pain, someone is already feeling. Being an empathetic soul, Vandana relates to Yamini’s pain and thus arranges a godh bharai for her, with a doll from her native place which is said to bring a child into a woman’s life. It was also very kind of Rajesh to stand up for Yamini against Kalyani mausi. As individuals, we all should do our bit in eliminating superstitions which plague our society. I’m excited for the viewers to see how this godh bharai turns out for Yamini.”
