Today’s episode of Anupamaa starts with Pakhi telling Adhik to accept the jewelry and not create a scene. Adhik gets angry and asks, “How we will pay Rs 60 lakhs?” They argue with each other, and Adhik says that his monthly salary is Rs 1 lakh. Pakhi asks him that this is too less and why he is doing the job in Anuj’s office as he should be a partner. Devika, Kinjal, and Kavya perform, and Paritosh gets happy seeing Kinjal dance. Ankush and Barkha also amaze everyone with their performance. Anupamaa sees Adhik and Pakhi talking; she tries to go to them but gets stuck.
Pakhi tells Adhik how he can be so different than Barkha. Anupamaa overhears the conversation and is stunned. The last performance was of Leela and Hasmukh. Samar tells everyone to come to the dance floor. Adhik is angry and avoids Pakhi. Pakhi tells Barkha that Adhik is angry, and Barkha tells her never to compromise her dream. Barkha tells Pakhi to show the necklaces to her friends. They all go in the room. Anupamaa comes searching for Pakhi and overhears the conversation.
Barkha’s friend tells Pakhi that she is not a Kapadia, as Adhik is Mehta. To this, Pakhi says that Anuj will make him a partner soon, and to gain experience, Adhik is working in Anuj’s office. Pakhi also says that she is following the footsteps of her mother as her mother got married in Kapadia, a rich family, and she is also doing the same. To become rich, she took the shortcut of marrying a rich guy. Anupamaa overhears and is stunned to hear Pakhi’s words.
Pakhi comes out and sees Anupamaa. Anupamaa takes her to a room and gets angry, and shouts at her. Pakhi is irritated and behaves rudely and badly with her mother. Anupamaa slaps her and tells her that she has canceled the wedding function. Pakhi is stunned and tries to convince her. Anupamaa says that it’s her final decision, and it does not change.
