The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kavya and Vanraj criticising Anupamaa for presenting her ideas. Anupamaa says she liked the idea, so she said it. If it’s not good Anuj Kapadia will reject it, it’s not a big deal. Kavya tries provoking Baa against Anupamaa saying her attitude has changed. Baa tells her to stop provoking her. Kinjal calms Anupamaa saying she shouldn’t let Kavya and Vanraj’s words affect her. GK asks Anuj does he not think of giving the rose to Anupamaa that he is saving for 26 years. Anuj says that he thinks of giving it to her every time they meet but Anupamaa is now an independent woman. She doesn’t need anyone’s help. GK suggests that he should have proposed Anupamaa. Anuj says when Devika told him that Anupamaa’s marriage was fixed, he went running to her house with a rose.
Anuj says it was too late as her baarat had already come. He saw Anupamaa smile and thought she is happy with this marriage. He went to the USA with a broken heart but Devika would keep giving updates about Anupamaa. Anuj says he got to meet Anupamaa after 26 years which is a big thing for him. GK thinks fate brought them together after 26 years and fate will do its work. Anupamaa sees Samar and Nandini dancing and gets happy that they are back together. He tells them to fight in love but never doubt each other. Anupamaa gets a call and rushes to the cafe. She makes a dish without using the oven which leaves the chef amazed. Anupamaa serves the dish to the customer and realises it’s Anuj. She asks what he is doing here. Anuj says he is here to check the property.
Anupamaa and Anuj talk and laugh together. Seeing this Kavya and Vanraj get jealous. Rakhi comes with Toshu, she sees Anupamaa and Anuj together and also gets jealous. Anuj tastes the dish and praises Anupamaa. He says there’s magic in her hands. Rakhi taunts Vanraj saying this magic was once in his life. She says she came here to help them with the remaining loan but looking at Anupamaa and Anuj’s friendship she feels Anupamaa can even manage to pay 40 crores. Rakhi taunts Vanraj saying a husband gets jealous seeing his wife or ex-wife talking to another man.
Rakhi greets Anuj Kapadia and reminds him of their meeting in Chicago a few years back. Anuj says he doesn’t remember, Rakhi tries to remind him but fails. Anupamaa introduces Rakhi as Kinjal’s mother. Anuj says he came here as the legal team suggested doing so, but couldn’t resist trying Anupamaa’s special dish. Anuj says he has discussed his proposal with his legal team and will get a report tomorrow. He goes to pay the bill, but Kavya tells him it’s not necessary. Anuj says this is their cafe and, not home. Anupamaa says he is their customer and not a guest and accepts the payment. Anuj tells Anupamaa to show him the dance academy. Anupamaa says she will show him the whole place. Toshu angrily says there’s no need for that.
