In today’s Anupamaa episode, Samar asks Anupamaa to welcome Kinjal’s baby instead of getting emotional. Anupamaa says she is doing it. Shahs welcome the baby together. Anupamaa in baby’s ear says she is special and will get everyone’s love. She adds Anuj will come to see her soon. Kavya in baby’s ear says Leela is a little rude but good too. She tells the baby that she will be loved more than anyone else. Leela asks what Anupamaa and Kinjal are whispering in the baby’s ear. She asks to let Kinjal and the baby enter the house. Anupamaa takes the baby’s footprint and welcomes the baby. She asks Hasmukh to keep the footprint safely in the locker. Hasmuk takes the cloth. Anu asks Kinjal if she can see the baby. Leela asks Anu to stay away from the baby.
Then in Anupamaa, Kavya asks Anu to be with her. Anupamaa talks about another ritual with the baby. She says each member will wave to the baby with a peacock feather. Meenu asks why. Anupamaa says it is a ritual. Samar says someone should flap their feathers over Paritosh as he seems tense. Paritosh says he is fine. Rakhi gives a look to Paritosh and recalls her talk with him. Anu asks Kinjal if she can touch the baby. Leela stops Anu. Vanraj asks Anu to be with him. Anupamaa asks Kinjal and Paritosh to sit on the swing. She asks Rakhi to give the baby to Paritosh so that they can start the ritual. Rakhi thinks the rituals are important for the baby, so she comes.
Later in Anupamaa, Rakhi further decides to take Kinjal and the baby with her post the rituals. Anupamaa asks Rakhi to give the baby to Paritosh. Rakhi gives the baby to Kinjal. Shahs stand stunned. They confront Rakhi about giving the baby to Kinjal instead of Paritosh. Rakhi asks Shahs to do the ritual fast and she wants to take Kinjal and the baby with her. Shahs ask Rakhi the reason for getting desperate to take back Kinjal. Rakhi says she wants to spend time with Kinjal and the baby. Leela goes against Rakhi. Vanraj asks Rakhi to not create drama as the day is lucky. He adds to let Kinjal and baby get settled and then she can take Kinjal.
Lastly in Anupamaa, Kinjal also requests Rakhi to let her stay back. Anupamaa asks Rakhi to start the ritual by giving the baby to Paritosh. Rakhi gives the baby. Shahs perform the ritual with Kinjal and the baby. Samar makes a call to Anuj. Anuj asks if rituals are done. He spots Anupamaa and Vanraj with the baby together and gets anxious. Barkha and Ankush decide to benefit from the situation. Anuj yells at Barkha and Ankush. At Shah’s house, Rakhi taunts Paritosh again and asks him to start being responsible as he is a father now. Vanraj says Paritosh is responsible. Rakhi decides to keep visiting Shahs. Anupamaa decides to find the truth Rakhi is hiding.
