The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa signing the divorce papers and asking Vanraj to do the same. Vanraj hesitatingly signs the divorce papers.
The counselor says that Vanraj and Anupamaa have 6 months to sort their problems and hope if they can change their decision. Anupamaa thinks she will never change her decision and hope Vanraj also does the same.
Anupamaa leaves. Vanraj goes to Anupamaa and says last year his friend got divorced, he once mentioned that after divorce nothing feels good, and now he is getting a weird feeling. Vanraj apologizes to Anupamaa for hurting her for choosing Kavya and for accusing Anupamaa of being mentally unstable.
Vanraj asks if Anupamaa will forgive him. Anupamaa says if Vanraj sets her free, she will forgive him. Vanraj says Bapuji was right when he says that Vanraj can never stay happy hurting Anupamaa.
Vanraj returns home and tells Kavya that he has signed the divorce papers. Kavya gets happy and says after Vanraj’s divorce, Kavya and Vanraj can get married. Vanraj asks Kavya to start her divorce procedure and then talk about marrying Vanraj.
Kavya says she will adjust everything and asks Vanraj to send Pakhi to Anupamaa, as she wants some time alone with Vanraj on his birthday. Kavya says she is going to a resort for some office work and wants Vanraj to come with her so that they can spend time together and Pakhi can stay with Anupamaa.
The next morning, Baa makes Vanraj’s favorite dishes as it’s his birthday. Anupamaa comes and helps her. Baa says they will celebrate Vanraj’s birthday lavishly. Anupamaa says Pakhi will also come with Vanraj, so she will make a burger for Pakhi.
Bapuji says they are preparing all of Vanraj’s favorite dishes, but wonders if Kavya will allow Vanraj to come there. Anupamaa says Kavya might stop Vanraj.
Anupamaa hopes there should be no problems on Vanraj’s birthday like his last birthday.
