The episode of Anupamaa starts with Vanraj holding Anupamaa’s hand as she slips and tells her to be careful. She tells him that she has to walk on tough paths from now on. He tells her that he will always be there when she needs him. Baa fights with a neighbour for badmouthing about Anupamaa. Baa warns them to stop but she keeps on insulting Anupamaa. So Baa slaps her. The neighbour calls the police. They come to arrest Baa. Rakhi comes with lawyers and threatens the neighbour that she will put him in jail for physically and emotionally harassing a senior citizen. The neighbours take their complaints back.
Baa thanks Rakhi for saving her. Baa for the first time stood up for Anupamaa. And she prays to God that Anupamaa and Vanraj clear their differences. Anirudh takes Kavya out for coffee. Anupamaa walks with Vanraj remembering all the good and bad moments spent with him. Kavya and Anirudh enjoy their coffee together and remember the old days. He tells her that whenever he comes to Ahmedabad he visits this place hoping to see her. She tells him that she doesn’t regret her decision and even in her pain, she feels peace. He says that Vanraj should give her place in his house if he gives it in his heart.
Baa is cooking food and is mad because despite having two bahus she has to cook. Kinjal says she will prepare the food. Baa tells her she cooks half-boiled food. Rakhi says she will cook and sends Baa to rest. Rakhi cooks and serves the family. Mamaji starts flirting with her. Baa says from now on she doesn’t want to call her Nagin. Pakhi plays the video of Anupamaa and Vanraj’s dancing on the song Madhuban Mein Kanha Kisi Gopi Se Mile. They all remember the day and feel happy.
Anupamaa says that childhood stories end after marriage. And no one knows what to do after marriage. Vanraj hopes that their story doesn’t end. Anupamaa thought she would get sorrows but got happiness instead.
