As she enters, Vimla comments on her, asking whether Durgawati has come to perform puja, but Vimla points out that, despite the puja, she cannot clear the sins she has committed.
Giving it back to Vimla, Durgawati tells her that today she is very happy as Vimla failed in her conspiracy. However, Vimla tells Durgawati she feels pity for her son Siddhu, whose life Durgawati is ruining.
