The episode of Imlie starts with Imlie giving Kadha to Aditya. He says he doesn’t want to and yells at her to not trouble him. Imlie says as he wishes, he says no one cares about his wish. He says he has given an application to shift to Mumbai and he has to inform Malini about it, but she will not let him do it. Imlie repeatedly asks him to have Kadha. He takes a sip and says it’s bitter. She says it’s not bitter than his words. He takes more sips and takes the medicine from her hand. Malini enters and is happy to see him taking medicine. He asks Aditya how he is feeling. He says he feels good. She asks him again why he didn’t have medicine in the morning. He says he didn’t feel like having. Malini then yells at Imlie for standing there while they are talking. She tells her to learn some manners. Imlie says sorry and leaves.
Mithi performs pooja for Imlie, Prakash who is intoxicated walks in. She offers him ladoos. He says how did he not come when she was doing pooja for Imlie. Mithi says that she prayed for Imlie’s education and her husband’s support. He laughs, Mithi realises that he is drunk and scolds him. He says that he drank alcohol to forget something. She asks him what he wanted to forget. He says Aditya is a betrayal. She asks him if Imlie is fine. He says that Aditya has married twice, and he loves and considers the other women his wife and not Imlie.
Malini feels bad for mistreating Imlie. And tells God that she always saw her parents fighting since childhood so she married her best friend. She thought their relationship would be perfect but Aditya doesn’t even talk to her properly now. She says she will not let her relationship become like her parents. If Aditya has changed the will also change as will fight for her marriage.
Prakash tells Mithi that he couldn’t bear Imlie’s pain alone and didn’t want to inform them as it would trouble them. Mithi pushes him away and cries to God. Meanwhile, Imlie is getting ready for her first day of college. She practices how she will introduce herself to the students and teachers and how she will confront bullies. Aditya comes downstairs and says he is going to the office and will drop Imlie at college. Imlie tells everyone that she is leaving. Aditya tells her to hurry up. He makes her sit in the front seat of the car and gives her his watch.
Malini walks towards the car and sees Imlie wearing Aditya’s watch. She questions her, Aditya says he gave it to her to check the time. He asks her why she is dressed. Malibu says that since it is Imlie’s first day of college, she will drive her. Aditya says that he has already informed the office that he will be late. He tells Malini to come and join them. Malini tells Imlie that she is sitting in her seat. Imlie gets up ad goes and sits behind. As they reach Imlie drops her bag, Malini helps her pick it up. She notices sindhoor in Imlie’s hairline and asks why she has applied it. Imlie says it’s for God’s blessing. Malini tells her to wipe it off as students will lease her, she wipes it off for Imlie. After they leave Imlie re-applies the sindoor in her hairline.
