The episode begins with, Sonakshi approaches Sanjana and asks Dev what happened that he forgot everything and let Sanjana work; Dev asks her to allow him to explain, but she says there is nothing left to explain.
Sonakshi alleges Sanjana is attempting to manipulate her; Dev explains that he believes she has learnt her lesson; he was about to transfer her; Sonakshi claims he did not do so because she confused him; Dev says she may have confused him, but he also received a text from her worried friend Rena. Sanjana is in the office, transferring files from the laptop when Dev enters, hurriedly covering the USB with paper, he enters explaining that he has spoken with Sonakshi and they have agreed to give her a second chance, Sanjana smiles and thanks him, but he warns her that this is the last chance she will have, and she must remember the decorum that she must maintain between an employer and an employee. Sonakshi is in the car, Sanjana very secretly enters the car, Sonakshi gets scared so questions what is she doing in her car, Sanjana says that Sonakshi was in danger because of her so she would like to say sorry to her personally, Sonakshi asks her to leave but Sanjana replies she had to talk about Soha. Soha is really happy with them so she will never come into her life, Sanjana takes out a knife, Sonakshi years Sanjana sets the glass down and explains that it was all part of a plan to get closer to him who isn’t with her; she opens his laptop, inserts a USB, and begins uploading information; she considers how she will ensure she gets what she wants.
Sonakshi inquires as to what the noise was, to which Sanjana responds that it was nothing; Sonakshi then inquires as to where she should drop her off, to which Sanjana responds the Ishwari house; Sonakshi becomes agitated when Sanjana exclaims that she can drop her off near her house; Sonakshi then stops the car. Sanjana arrives at her house, starts dancing to a song, and imagines that Dev is with her. She finally opens her laptop, where she can see Dev working, thanks to the camera she hacked into his laptop, and she picks it up in a fit of rage, asking Dev to see the portrait she has created. Sanjana shuts down the laptop, thinking that she should be beside him, not Sonakshi because she loves him the most.
Radha is sitting with the family and says she didn’t like Sanjana the first time she saw her because she couldn’t understand how someone could love a dish made by someone unknown so much that she couldn’t stop praising it; she knew it was a ruse and she was just trying to cement her place in the family. Radha interrogates Sonakshi, wondering why she couldn’t evaluate Sanjana; Alena is about to divulge the truth when Sonakshi intervenes; Sonakshi is concerned about Sanjana’s proposal to Dev. Radha inquires about Dev’s feelings regarding Sanjana when she sees him enter the room. Dev hesitantly responds that he and Sonakshi have decided not to transfer Sanjana out of Mumbai, which shocks Ishwari and Radha. Ishwari explains that it is their decision, but she will be relieved when Sanjana is miles away from this house, Radha says that Baldev is out of the city, but his reaction would be the same if he were present, Dev explains that they cannot let Sanjana leave Soha because she has not demanded any custodial rights.
The lawyer greets Dev, explaining to the family that he is their company’s lawyer, Ishwari asks Neha to bring water, Dev inquires as to what he discovered, the lawyer replies that after carefully studying the case, he concluded that in such circumstances, blood relatives are the ones who get the custodial rights, everyone is shocked.
