The episode of Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi starts with Dev telling Sonakshi that the lawyer has got the papers signed which were sent for the name change. Sonakshi says they can’t do it as Aayush is not ready to change his name to Veid Dixit. Sonakshi goes to talk to Ishwari about it. Ishwari comes back from the mandir and calls Soha and Aayush to take prasad. Sonakshi tells her that she wants to talk. Ishwari tells Sonakshi to let her place the thali in the Mandir. After returning she asks Sonakshi about what she wanted to say. Sonakshi questions her about her decision to change Aayush’s name. Ishwari says that his name is from his past life for which a new name is needed so he can start his new life. Sonakshi argues saying they are changing surnames for legal documents but changing names is not necessary. She tells Ishwari that Aayush heard her conversation with Pandit regarding changing his name and ran away from his house.
Ishwari tells Sonakshi that she easily blame her for everything. Sonakshi says she is Aayush’s mother and she will not change his name. Saurabh finds the recording of Bijoy’s marriage with Asha. Bijoy says this is what he was working towards. Saurabh says he will convert the recording onto a DVD but Bijoy fears it might erase the recording. Saurabh assures him he won’t let that happen. Sonakshi tells Aayush that she has talked to dadi and they will not change his name. She says they should dance to celebrate. Aayush says he can’t dance, Sonakshi says she can’t either but they should try.
Sonakshi puts on the music, Soha sees them and gets excited. She joins them and they all start dancing. Dev enters the room, Soha drags him inside and says they should have fun today. They all four dance together and enjoy it. On the other side, the stalker is in Alena’s room. She enters the room and sees her slippers misplaced and her perfume open. The stalker escapes from the room. Alena thinks something is wrong. Aayush is missing his grandparents so Soha calls them using her iPad. Soha and Aayush talk with Mr and Mrs Verma. Ishwari sees them talking, Radha tells her that Aayush has not forgotten his past. Ishwari tells her not to worry as tomorrow is Raksha Bandhan and it will mend relations.
The next day Ishwari asks if everyone has selected the Rakhi. Aayush looks at them and says they are very colourful. He asks Soha if she will tie Rakhi for him. She replies she will do whatever her mother says. Ishwari asks Soha if she will tie Rakhi to Aayush. Soha replies only Gollu and Shub are her brothers. Ishwari tells her that she will give her phone if she ties Rakhi to Aayush. Soha gets happy and agrees.
