The episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Sushma and Pragya getting Abhi into the hospital. They ask the ward boy to take Abhi to the operation theatre. Sushma calls the doctor and informs him that they have arrived. A nurse stops them and says they cannot take the patient inside unless they fill the form. The doctor arrives and asks Sushma the nurse to take Abhi inside, they have to treat the patient and can ask everything later. The doctor takes Abhi to the operation theatre and starts the treatment. While the nurse does all the preparation for the operation, the doctor asks Pragya who she is. Pragya says she is Abhi’s wife. She says that Abhi fell down the stairs.
The doctor asks how Abhi fell. Pragya says Abhi was climbing the stairs behind her and he suddenly fell. Sushma says that Abhi lost his balance and he fell. She asks the doctor to start the treatment. Pragya asks Sushma why she did not let her tell the doctor that Abhi was drunk. Sushma says if the news will go to the media then they will make a big issue of this. Pragya looks at Abhi through the ICU glass door.
Prachi wakes Ranbir and asks him to get ready. Ranbir asks if everything is okay. Prachi says she couldn’t sleep all night and thinks something wrong might happen. Ranbir asks if she called Pragya. Prachi says she called Pragya and Abhi but both are not replying to her call. Ranbir asks Prachi to call Sushma. Prachi says she doesn’t have her number. Ranbir says his driver is Sushma’s driver’s brother so he will take Sushma’s number. Ranbir calls his driver and asks him to take Sushma’s number from his brother. Ranbir gets the number and Prachi calls Sushma. Sushma asks Pragya to talk to Prachi. Pragya tells Prachi that Abhi fell from the stairs and is in the hospital. Prachi says she will come to meet her.
A ward boy sees Abhi and thinks about what happened to Abhi, as they live in the same chawl and he knows Abhi. He asks a nurse about it and learns everything. He calls Tanu to inform her but Tanu is busy enjoying herself with the money she got after buying Abhi.
Prachi meets Pragya. Pragya says she cannot handle Abhi as he never listens to her and when they come together there are many problems. Prachi asks Pragya to share her past. Pragya says Abhi tried to kill her 2years ago, she was drowning after the car fell off the cliff but Sushma saved her. Prachi says she cannot believe that Abhi tried to kill Pragya. Pragya says Abhi told her that he has failed her car’s break as he wants Pragya dead.
